St. Thomas, ON – Friday September 12th, 2025
On Thursday evening, just before 7:00p.m. we were called to an address on the westside of the city for the report of an individual bleeding and in need of assistance. The individual was located with an injury requiring EMS to attend and transport the individual to the hospital for medical treatment.
Investigation determined the injury was sustained after a family dispute had escalated. Officers learned prior to their arrival, a verbal argument had turned physical resulting in a victim being physically assaulted and another individual being threatened by the accused.
As a result, police have charged a 46 year old St. Thomas resident with:

Assault Causing Bodily Harm

Utter Threats – to cause death or bodily harm
Once treated for their injury, the 46 year old was transported to police headquarters, processed on their charges and held for a morning court appearance. ST25016506
