Shoplifters, Impaired, Intimate Partner Violence and Threats
A 47 year old St. Thomas resident was arrested Friday morning at a local retail store. The same male had been identified by staff members as being responsible for 2 previous thefts on separate days. The man was arrested and charged with two counts of Theft Under $5000 and later released from custody with a court date and conditions to abide by. ST25016036

Early Friday evening members of the uniform patrol division responded to an intersection in the city’s southeast end. Reports had been received after a truck left the road, collided with a utility box and then fled the area. Witnesses were able to obtain a license plate of the vehicle, which led officers to the owner’s residence. There a 20 year old St. Thomas man was taken into custody for Operating a conveyance while impaired. After conducting a series of breath tests the man’s blood alcohol content was deemed to be in excess of 3 times the legal limit. The man was also charged with Operating a conveyance, 80 plus. Intimate Partner Violence Arrest
A 21 year old London man has been charged after being involved in a physical altercation with his partner on Friday evening. The man faces charges of intimate partner assault. He was arrested and later released with a court date and conditions to abide by. ST25016075
Threats charges laid
A 37 year old St. Thomas man has been charged with Utter Threats after police responded to an altercation on Friday night. Following a short investigation grounds were provided by the victim in this matter and the male was arrested. The male was later released with a court date and conditions to abide by while awaiting his court appearance. ST25016078
Shoplifter Identified
A 20 year old St. Thomas man has been identified after police received a complaint from a local retailer about a recent theft. The male is observed on video committing the theft. As such attempts were made to locate the male, however he remains at large. A warrant is being sought in regards to this matter. ST25016081.
