Multiple Arrests – Dedicated Warrant Initiative

St. Thomas, ON Thursday August 14th 2025

Yesterday, during a targeted effort by our officers, several individuals wanted on outstanding warrants were located and taken into custody.

Throughout the day, officers focused on locating and arresting individuals with active warrants held by our service.

As a result, the following arrests were made:

  • A 34 year old St. Thomas resident was arrested for two counts of Theft under $5,000, stemming from shoplifting incidents earlier this year. The individual was processed and released on an appearance notice with a future court date. ST25014467
  • A 31 year old St. Thomas resident was arrested for two counts of Theft under $5,000, stemming from shoplifting incidents earlier this year. The individual was processed and released on an appearance notice with a future court date. ST25014473
  • A 50 year old St. Thomas resident was arrested for Mischief, after being charged in June. The individual was processed and released on an appearance notice with a future court date. ST25014476
  • A 58 year old St. Thomas resident was arrested for Assault and Break and Enter, dating back to an incident in 2024. The individual was transported to police headquarters, processed for a court appearance and was remanded into custody. ST25014478
  • A 41 year old St. Thomas resident was arrested at the Elgin County Courthouse after being charged with Arson in relation to an investigation into a fire in June. The individual remains in custody. ST25014482
  • A 38 year old St. Thomas resident was arrested at the Elgin County Courthouse after being charged with Theft under $5,000, Failure to Comply with Probation Order and Fail to Attend stemming from an incident in 2022. The individual was processed and remanded into custody. ST25014484
  • A 35 year old St. Thomas resident was arrested for Break and Enter and Theft under $5,000 after being charged in June. The individual was processed and released on an appearance notice with a future court date. ST25014499
  • A 42 year old St. Thomas resident was arrested for Uttering Threats after being charged in January. The individual was processed at police headquarters and later released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST25014511

This arrests noted above reflect the proactive work of our front line officers day-to-day efforts that are critical to keeping our community safe in ensuring that individuals who are wanted by the courts are held accountable.

The St. Thomas Police Service will continue to dedicate resources to locating and arresting those with outstanding warrants, prioritizing community safety.
