Warrant Arrest
A 39 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Saturday morning, officers on community patrol located the individual known to them to be wanted on an outstanding warrant. The 39 year old was processed and released on an appearance notice with a future court date. ST25014206
Theft
Contents of a purse have been reported stolen from an event on the northside of the City. On Saturday afternoon, we were contacted to investigate the report of the victim’s cellular phone, medication and jewellery stolen. This remains under investigation. ST25014221.
Impaired Operation
A 61 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested after an alert citizen called police concerned that a driver appeared to be impaired. On Saturday evening, we located the vehicle in the south end of the City. Upon arrival, the individual was located in their vehicle showing obvious signs of impairment. The individual was arrested and transported to police headquarters where subsequent breath tests revealed a blood alcohol concentration of 180 mg per 100 ml of blood. As a result, the individual has been charged with operation while impaired – alcohol or drugs and operation while impaired – 80 plus. The accused was processed and released on an appearance notice with a future court date. ST25014240
