Counterfeit Currency – ST25011712

On Saturday afternoon police responded to a report from a local downtown business regarding the use of a suspected counterfeit $100 bill. The bill was seized and confirmed to be counterfeit. Video is being reviewed to identify the individual involved. The investigation remains ongoing.

Break and Enter – ST25011717

Police were contacted after a break-in was discovered at a fenced construction site at an address in the north end of the city. Sometime overnight on Friday, an unknown suspect forced entry into a trailer located on the site, causing approximately $1,000 in damage to the door and lock mechanism. No items were reported stolen.

Bail Violation – ST25011728

On Saturday afternoon, police received information regarding a possible breach of court-imposed release conditions. An individual was found to have violated a curfew requiring them to remain inside their residence between 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. Officers located and arrested the individual in the early morning hours of Sunday. They were held for a court appearance and subsequently remanded into custody.
