Search Warrant
We executed a drug search warrant at an address near the core of the city resulting in four St. Thomas residents being charged with four drug offences, six possession of weapons offences, four possession of stolen property offences and four offences for breaching court release conditions. Found during the search were two replica handguns, two prohibited knives, 30 grams of fentanyl, and over $3000 worth of stolen goods. Ref# ST25011318
Warrant Arrest
We arrested a 38-year-old St. Thomas resident on the strength of an arrest warrant. This individual was held in custody for a court appearance. Ref# ST25011321
We attended Indwell located at 16 Queen Street regarding an unwanted person. Officers arrived and arrested a 45-year-old St. Thomas resident on the strength of our arrest warrant and also charged the individual with entering a premises when entry prohibited contrary to the Trespass to Property Act. This suspect was held in custody for a court appearance. Ref# ST25011367
We arrested a 39-year-old St. Thomas resident on the strength of our arrest warrant. This suspect was held in custody for a court appearance. Ref# ST25011368
Theft
We are investigating a theft of a package from the front porch of a residence on Elgin Street. Police are reviewing video to further the investigation. Ref# ST25011339
A homeowner on Queen Street had an envelope of cash stolen from their mailbox. Police are searching for video footage to assist with the investigation. Ref# ST25011358
Break and Enter
A south end resident is reporting a break and enter to their residence. The homeowner arrived home to find their property rummaged through and scattered on the floor. No damage was found on any exterior access points. This remains under investigation. Ref# ST25011355
R.I.D.E Spot Check (Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere)
We conducted a RIDE spot check where several vehicle drivers were checked for sobriety and no infractions were found. Ref# ST25011377

In an ongoing effort to help protect the residents of St. Thomas from falling victim to online scams and fraud, the St. Thomas Police Service would like to remind the community on ways to protect yourself and things to consider while online:
- Always get a second opinion from family or friends regarding the situation
- No employer will reach out to you through apps like Whats App or Telegram
- No employer will ever pay you in crypto currency
- No employer will ask you to invest your own money
- Use the Canadian Anti- Fraud Centre as a resource to familiarize yourself with current scams and additional ways to protect yourself
