Assault
A 52 year old St. Thomas resident has been charged with Assault after a disturbance Wednesday morning. At 11:00 a.m. we were called to a southside neighbourhood and learned the 52 year old had assaulted an individual after a verbal argument had escalated. No injuries were reported. The individual was transported to police headquarters, processed and released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST25010965
A 34 year old St. Thomas resident has been charged with Mischief and Assault after we were called to attend a Talbot Street address for the report of a person causing damage to the exterior of a building. Upon arrival, it was learned an individual had to tried to approach the person in an attempt to calm them and was subsequently assaulted. No injuries were reported. The 34 year old was arrested and transported to police headquarters where they were processed and released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST25010974
Warrant Arrest
A 40 year old St. Thomas resident wanted by our service for Theft under $5,000 and Failure to Comply with Probation has been arrested. On Wednesday, we located the individual know to us to be wanted on the outstanding warrant stemming from an incident on the 23rd of June. The 40 year old was transported to police headquarters, processed and later released on an appearance notice. ST25010955
Mischief
A vehicle parked on Stokes Road has been reported damaged. On Wednesday morning, the owner of the vehicle reported the tires had been slashed. This remains under investigation. ST25010948
A window at a business in the 600 block of Talbot Street has been reported damaged. On Wednesday, the property manager of the building called to report that damage that occurred in the overnight hours. CCTV of the area is being reviewed as we continue to investigate. ST25010964
Shoplift
$125 of alcohol has been reported stolen from a grocery store on Talbot Street. On Wednesday afternoon we were called to the store to investigate the report of an unknown individual failing to pay for their items. Video of the incident is being reviewed to identify the person responsible. ST25010985
A 29 year old St. Thomas resident has been charged with Theft under $5,000 after being identified as the person responsible in a shoplifting incident that occurred on Wednesday. Just before 5:00 p.m. we were called to a retail store on Talbot Street to review video of the individual who had failed to pay for $30.00 of merchandise. A warrant for their arrest has been requested. ST25010992
