Threats
A 45 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested following a family dispute, Sunday night. At 9:30 p.m. we were called to an address on Talbot Street to investigate the report of the individual threatening a family member during a verbal argument. The 45 year old was charged with one count of Utter Threats to Cause Bodily Harm and transported to police headquarters where they were processed and released on an undertaking with a future court date. Break and Enter
While on general patrol Sunday night, an alert officer found a fence surrounding a business on Edward Street had been cut and the property entered. Various items were found along the fence line and returned to the business. This remains under investigation. ST25010277
Warrant Arrest
A 41 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Sunday afternoon, officers at police headquarters with dealing with the individual on an unrelated matter when they became aware of an outstanding warrant for arrest. The warrant had been issued in December after the 41 year old had been charged with Breach of Conditional Sentence Order. As a result, the individual was arrested, processed and held to attend court Monday morning. ST25010246
RIDE
Four Alcohol Screening Devices were administered last night during a RIDE program set up by officers in the north end of city. All drivers registered a PASS and no other infractions were found. The St. Thomas Police Service wishes to thank the community for continuing to drive safe and sober. ST25010284
Theft
An Amazon package valued at $100 has been reported stolen from an address on East Street. On Sunday, we were contacted to investigate the report of an unknown individual attending the address and taking the package. CCTV of the occurrence was captured and is being reviewed. ST25010229
A quantity of ice cream has been reported stolen from a grocery store on Talbot Street. On Sunday, we were notified by the store that an individual known to them to be trespassed from the store had left with the merchandise. This remains under investigation. ST25010236
$900 of dog food has been reported stolen from a pet store on Talbot Street. On Sunday afternoon, we were called to the store to investigate the report of two unknown individuals failing to pay for five bags of dog food. The pair were last seen leaving the area in a silver, crossover style SUV. Video surveillance is being reviewed as we continue to investigate. ST25010251
A Bianchi blue and grey road bike has been reported stolen from an address on Hemlock Street. On Sunday, the owner of the bike contacted police to report that at some point over the last couple days, their bike had been taken. This remains under investigation. ST25010266
