Warrant Arrests
A 54 year old St. Thomas resident wanted by our service for Theft under $5,000 has been arrested. On Thursday June 5th 2025, the individual attended police headquarters to turn themselves after being identified as the person responsible in a shoplifting incident from earlier the same day. The 54 year old was processed and released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST25009525/9491
A 56 year old St. Thomas resident charged with Assault and Breach of Recognizance after we were called to a disturbance at an address on Talbot Street on Tuesday, has been arrested. On Thursday, the individual attended police headquarters to turn themselves in on the outstanding warrant and was later released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST25009538/9372
A 63 year old St. Thomas resident wanted by our service for Theft under $5,000 and Mischief dating back to an incident in 2024, has been arrested. Last night, officers on community patrol were dealing with the individual on an unrelated matter when they became aware of the outstanding warrant. The individual was transported to police headquarters, processed and released on an appearance notice. ST25009553/24014196
A 32 year old St. Thomas resident charged with Assault with a Weapon in relation to an intimate partner violence incident in May, has been arrested. While on an unrelated call for service this morning, officers located the individual known to them to be wanted on the outstanding warrant. The 32 year old was transported to police headquarters where they were processed and released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST25009568
Mischief
A 27 year old St. Thomas resident has been charged with Mischief after police were called to investigate the report of damage caused to an address on the southside of the city. On Thursday, it was reported that the accused had caused damaged to their ex-partner’s residence. Police observed the damage and formed grounds to charge the accused. A warrant for arrest has been requested. ST25009490
Damaged caused to a train parked in the CN railyard on Flora Street has been reported to police. On Thursday, a CN employee reported windows to one of the trains had been smashed. The train was repaired and no other damage was reported. ST25009509

Trespassing on CN Rail property is illegal and dangerous. We wish to remind everyone to:
- Stay off the tracks and out of railyards
- Only use designated crossings
- Fines can reach up to $50,000
Rail yards, tracks, and bridges are not safe places to walk or play. Stay clear, stay safe.
Fraud
A St. Thomas resident is out $2,000 after falling victim to a scam. On Thursday, the victim attended police headquarters to report that an individual posing as an employee of the property management company of the victims vacation home, ultimately gained access to a credit card and processed the fraudulent charge. This remains under investigation. ST25009511
Theft of a Cat
A black and white Tuxedo cat has been reported stolen from an address on Talbot Street. On Thursday June 5th 2025, we were called to the 700 block of Talbot Street to investigate the report of a stolen cat. The owner of the cat reported the incident occurred at some point on May 30th. Theft
A 34 year old St. Thomas resident charged with Theft under $5,000 has been arrested. The individual had been identified and charged after police were called to investigate the report of $40 of groceries, stolen from a downtown grocery store on Wednesday. The 34 year old was arrested on Thursday afternoon and transported to police headquarters where they were processed and released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST25009506
A backpack containing a laptop that is used as a personal communication device has been reported stolen from a vehicle. On Thursday, police were called to investigate the report of the items being removed from the vehicle while it was parked on Elgin Street between 3 and 4 p.m. yesterday.
