Warrant Arrests 

A 44 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Wednesday June 4th 2025, Elgin OPP notified us that they had the individual in custody on the strength of our outstanding warrant for Theft under $5,000 stemming from a shoplifting incident in May. We took custody of the individual who was transported to police headquarters, processed and released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST25009406

A 34 year old St. Thomas resident, wanted by our service for two counts of Assault after being charged in relation to an intimate partner violence investigation, has been arrested. On Wednesday June 4th 2025, the individual attended police headquarters to turn themselves in on the outstanding warrant. The 34 year old was processed and released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST25009437

A 48 year old St. Thomas resident, wanted by our service for Assault after being charged following an investigation that began in May, has been arrested. On Wednesday June 4th 2025, the individual attended police headquarters to turn themselves in on the outstanding warrant. The 48 year old was processed and released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST25009460

Mischief

$500 of damage caused to a vehicle, has been reported to police. On Wednesday June 4th 2025, the owner of the vehicle contacted police after finding several dents and footprints on the roof of their car. This remains under investigation. ST25009432

Theft Investigation 

$100 of deli meat and grocery items have been reported stolen. On Wednesday June 4th 2025, we were called to a grocery store on Talbot Street to investigate the report of an unknown individual, described as a male wearing red and black shoes, a grey sweater and black pants attending the store, selecting the items and failing to pay. CCTV of the incident is being reviewed as we continue to investigate. ST25009446

$90 of gas has been reported stolen from a local gas station. On Wednesday June 4th 2025, we were called to the business to investigate the report of an unknown individual failing to pay for their gas. CCTV of individual is being reviewed in an attempt to identify the party responsible. ST25009447
