Warrant arrest:
On Monday afternoon a 34-year-old male turned himself in at the front counter of the police service on a warrant for charges of criminal harassment, assault with a weapon and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle. The male was arrested on the strength of the warrant and was held for court. He was later released by the courts on conditions. Incident ST25007923.
Break and Enter:
An observant officer on general patrol overnight on the 11th of May noted an insecure utility trailer parked at a north end business. Attempts were made to locate the owner overnight and the owner attended on the 12th of May to report the lock had been pried off the trailer and $1500 in Milwaukee power tools had been stolen. The matter is under investigation. Assault:
On Monday afternoon a male youth attended the front counter of the Police station to turn himself in relation to an assault investigation. The male had allegedly assaulted a female at the secondary school that they both attend. The male youth was arrested for assault and released on conditions to his parents with a future court date. R.I.D.E:
Members of B platoon conducted a R.I.D.E. program overnight in the north end of the city. We are pleased to announce no infractions were observed and no signs of alcohol use were noted on any of the drivers stopped. Incident ST25007964.
