Assault
A 27 year old St. Thomas resident has been charged after we were called to investigate an assault. At 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, we attended a northside address and learned a verbal argument between two individuals had escalated, resulting in the victim being choked by the accused. The accused, identified as a 27 year old St. Thomas resident had left the area prior to our arrival. As a result, a warrant for one count of Assault Cause Bodily Harm has been requested. ST25006587
Failure to Comply
A 20 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested and charged after attending an address they are currently on conditions to not attend. Early this morning, we attended a southside address and located the individual who was transported to police headquarters, processed and held for a morning court appearance. ST25006594
Theft
A pressure washer has been recovered and returned to its rightful owner after we were called to investigate a theft. On April 19th, we attended a northside address and spoke to a resident in the area who reported an unknown individual had entered their property and removed the equipment. A canvas of neighbours in the area located its rightful owner and video of the incident. This remains under investigation. ST25006549/6427
We are currently reviewing video of a theft that occurred at a retail store on Talbot Street. On Tuesday April 22nd, we attended the store to investigate the report of an unknown individual failing to pay for their items. This remains under investigation. ST25006569
