Holiday R.I.D.E, Unendorsed Warrant and 2 Thefts
Theft
On Sunday morning officers responded to a downtown address, after a resident reported the theft of their personal belongings. After taking the complaint and reviewing video footage, another resident of the same address was observed walking away with the property and rummaging through it. As a result, police have charged a 49yr old St. Thomas man with Theft Under $5000. ST25006438
Theft From Vehicle
A resident in the city’s north-end found that his unlocked vehicle, that was parked on the street, had been entered and rummaged through sometime overnight. Unknown suspects rummaged through the vehicle taking loose change and the victim’s pay stub. Residents are reminded to ensure their vehicles are secured when unoccupied, and to ensure valuables are not left inside. ST25006451
R.I.D.E
Sunday night officers conducted R.I.D.E checks at various locations within the city, checking approximately 75 vehicles. 1 seat belt ticket was issued, as well as a warning. Officers found no liquor infractions during the checks. ST25006467
Fail to Comply with Release Conditions
A 28yr old man of No Fixed Address was arrested early Monday morning after attending an address in the city he was prohibited from going to. The man had previously been charged and was at large on other charges. While at large the man was bound by numerous conditions of his release, to which he was in contravention of at the time of arrest. The man now faces numerous charges, including 7 counts of Failing to Comply with a condition of Probation, as well as Failing to comply with a condition of an Undertaking. The man was held in St. Thomas, where he is to appear in Weekend and Statutory Holiday Court. ST25006475
Warrant Arrest
A 34yr old woman of No Fixed Address has been arrested following an early morning disturbance call to a downtown residence. During the interaction the woman was found to be wanted on an Unendorsed Bench Warrant. She was arrested and held for Weekend and Statutory Holiday Court in St. Thomas cells. ST25006481
