Warrant Arrests
A 29yr old St. Thomas man has been arrested on outstanding charges in relation to a previous theft charge. The St. Thomas resident turned himself in to police on Friday morning and would later be released with a future court date. ST25002506
A 34yr old St. Thomas man was arrested Friday morning after being wanted for Failing to Comply with a condition of his probation. The male had also turned himself into police. He would be later be released from custody with a future court date. ST25002507
A 52yr old St. Thomas man, currently in custody at the Elgin Middlesex Detention Center, was arrested on Friday, following an investigation that commenced prior to his incarceration. Members of the STPS arrested the man and provided him with a new court date and set of conditions to abide by, while being held in custody. ST25002520
A second male, 20yr old resident of the city, also in custody at EMDC, was arrested on a warrant for breaching a condition of his probation on Friday morning. The male, will appear on a separate date for the subsequent charges, he remains in custody. ST25002532
3 Break and Enters Reported in the City’s North End
2 Separate Businesses in the city’s industrial area have fallen victim to Break and Enters overnight on Thursday night. Both businesses reported entries to their properties around 3a.m. on Thursday morning. In one instance extension cords were stolen totaling approximately $500, and the other a large amount of wiring was stolen, valued at $1500- $2000. In both instances the culprits are caught on video.
