Recovered Stolen Vehicle

A stolen vehicle has been recovered. On Saturday evening police were called to Curtis St for reports of a suspicious Dodge Ram pick-up truck that had its windows smashed. The caller reported that a male and female party had been sleeping in the vehicle the previous night. Police attended and located the vehicle as described and a query revealed it was stolen from Windsor. Mischief

On Saturday evening an unknown person threw a glass bottle at a vehicle as it was travelling on Burwell Rd. The bottle struck and smashed the vehicle’s windshield, causing pieces of glass to fall into the vehicle where the driver’s wife and young child were seated. No one was injured. Breach of Release Order

Shortly before midnight police were called to an address near the city centre for reports of an unwanted male on the property. Police attended and located a 22-year-old male known who is on conditions to not attend the address or communicate with the caller. The male was arrested without incident and while being searched, police located a pouch of fentanyl and other drug paraphernalia. The male is charged with possession of a controlled substance and three counts of failing to comply with his release order. He is being held for a court appearance. ST24021802.
