Theft Investigation
St. Thomas police are currently investigating the report of Christmas decorations and statues being stolen from two addresses on Alexandria Avenue. On Wednesday, a resident attended police headquarters to report that in the overnight hours, their home security camera captured an unknown individual removing a large Angel from their front lawn. Shortly after this report, an neighbour on the same street contacted police to report that a Christmas Moose statue had been stolen from their lawn. Shoplifting
A pair of shoes, valued at $110 has been reported stolen from a retail store on Talbot Street. On Wednesday November 27th 2024, police were called to the store to investigate the report of an unknown individual wearing a black coat with a grey and black backpack, attending the store and concealing the item in their coat, failing to pay. Police are reviewing video of the incident as they continue to investigate. ST24021571
Distraction Theft
Yesterday, a concerning incident occurred in our city where a wallet was stolen, and a bank card was later used to purchase $600 worth of merchandise. This crime involved two individuals distracting the victim, allowing the theft to take place. The incident remains under investigation. ST24021572

Warrant Arrests
A 43 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. The individual had been charged with several offence relating to sexual assault investigation that began in October. On Wednesday November 27th, the 43 year old attended police headquarters to turn themselves in. They were processed and released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST24021540
A 42 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Wednesday November 27th, London Police had the individual in their custody on the strength of our outstanding warrant for Assault, dating back to January 2023. STPS attended London and transported the 42 year old to St. Thomas Police Headquarters where they were processed and held for a morning court appearance. ST24021582
A 39 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Wednesday November 27th, officers on community patrol located the individual known to them to be wanted by our service on an outstanding warrant for three counts of Breach of Probation, dating back to 2022. The individual was transported to police headquarters where they were processed and held for a morning court appearance. ST24021595
This morning, while on an unrelated call for service, a 36 year old St. Thomas resident was arrested. The individual, known to police to be wanted on an outstanding warrant for Breach of Probation was transported to police headquarters where they were processed and held for a morning court appearance.
