STPS Media Release – Monday, November 11th.

A 44-year-old Sarnia resident was arrested by Sarnia Police on the strength of a St. Thomas Police arrest warrant. This accused was transported to St. Thomas, held in custody for court and later released by the courts with a new court date and conditions. Ref#ST24020493

St. Thomas Police officers attended a north end residence regarding a domestic dispute. As a result of the investigation, a 38-year-old St. Thomas resident is wanted for domestic mischief for damaging matrimonial property. Ref#ST24020496

A 55-year-old St. Thomas resident has been scammed out of $9000. The victim attempted to invest money into a fraudulent company out of Switzerland. $9000 was e-transferred to what was believed to be a crypto-currency investor. Under investigation. Ref#ST24020506

A 29-year-old St. Thomas resident has been arrested and charged with theft and failing to comply with a probation order in connection with a vehicle entry. This accused has been held in police custody and awaiting a court appearance. Ref#St24020510

St. Thomas Police officers are investigating a vehicle entry where a commercial motor vehicle was broken into and some tools were stolen. This remains under investigation. Ref#ST24020511

London Police officers arrested a 28-year-old St. Thomas resident on the strength of a St. Thomas Police arrest warrant. This accused was arrested on a committal warrant and therefore was taken straight to the Elgin Middlesex Detention Centre. Ref#ST24020513

A 59-year-old St. Thomas resident was arrested and charged for breaching a condition of release x3. This accused was is being held in custody awaiting a court appearance. Ref#ST24020528

Strathroy Caradoc Police located a burnt out 2015 Hyundai Accent in their jurisdiction. This vehicle came back registered to a St. Thomas resident who was unaware that it had been stolen. Video is being sought of the theft. Ref#ST24020533
