The St. Thomas Police Service – Street Crime Unit (SCU) have concluded an investigation into cocaine trafficking within the City of St. Thomas.
This morning, with the assistance of the Critical Incident Response Unit (CIRT) a search warrant was executed.
As a result of the search warrant:
A 34 year old St. Thomas resident and a 24 year old St. Thomas resident have been arrested and charged with one count of Possession of Cocaine for the Purposes of Trafficking.
Approximately 70 grams of cocaine was seized with a street value of $7000.
Both parties were transported to police headquarters where they were processed and released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST24020424
