Warrant Arrests 

A 57 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Tuesday August 13th 2024, the individual attended police headquarters to turn themselves in on an outstanding warrant for Uttering Threats in relation to an incident in April. The 57 year old was processed and released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST24014191

A 48 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Tuesday August 13th 2024, the individual attended the Elgin County Courthouse to turn themselves in on an outstanding warrant for Possession of Proceeds Obtain by Crime and Possession of a Scheduled Substance as the result of an investigation in February of this year. The individual was processed and released on appearance notice. ST24014199

A 40 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Tuesday August 13th 2024, police were called to the Courthouse to assist with the of arrest of the individual who was wanted by our service for Uttering Threats after an incident at the end of July. The 40 year old was transported to police headquarters where they were processed and released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST24014202

A 45 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Tuesday August 13th 2024, officers on community patrol located the individual known to them to be wanted on an outstanding warrant with our service for Break and Enter and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime in relation to incidents in the fall of 2023. The 45 year old was transported to police headquarters where they were processed and held for a morning court appearance. ST24014243

Theft

Several outdoor patio items have been reported stolen. On Tuesday August 13th 2024, STPS were called to investigate the incident that occurred at an address on Ross Street. It was reported that an unknown person had attended the area, caused damaged to the residential patio and removed several items. Officers are reviewing available video surveillance as they continue to investigate the incident. ST24014196

Stolen Bike

St. Thomas police looking to locate a light green BMX youth bike reported stolen from an address on Wellington Street. The bike had been secured outside on August 10th 2024. A photo of the bike can be seen here:

Recovered Quad 

A 2007 Red Fox Condor Mini Quad has been recovered by police. The vehicle was found abandoned at a business on the North East side of the city on Tuesday August 13th 2024.
