Fail to comply
On July 27th, STPS Officers attended a south end residence as a male had attended the address contrary to conditions he was recently put on. The male has since been charged with 1 count of failing to comply with undertaking and a warrant has been requested for his arrest. ST24012986
Vehicle entry/theft
A resident from a north end address called Police to report that their unlocked vehicle had been entered sometime overnight Friday. They advised that their wallet had been stolen from inside the vehicle and since that time, various bank cards had been used at various locations across the city. Police are gathering video as they investigate the matter, looking to identify the suspect(s) involved. ST24013002
Assault with a weapon
Saturday evening, Police were called to an address in the south end of the city for reports of a disturbance between a group of youth. Investigation revealed that a youth had assaulted another while using dog spray. Minor injuries that did not require medical attention were sustained. That youth was subsequently arrested and charged with assault with a weapon, administer noxious substance and possession of a prohibited weapon. The accused was arrested and transported back to the STPS station where they were processed and later released on an Undertaking. ST24013031
