Intimate Partner Violence
A 46-year-old St. Thomas resident has been arrested after police were called to a disturbance on the south side of the city. Upon arrival, police located the parties involved and through investigation, it was learned that a verbal argument between a couple had escalated resulting in a physical altercation. As a result, a 46-year-old St. Thomas resident has been charged with Assault. The individual was transported to police headquarters where they were processed and released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST24012968.
Warrant Arrest/Breach
A 17-year-old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Saturday July 27th 2024, police were investigating a mischief complaint. Officers located the individual known to them to be wanted on an outstanding warrant for assault, weapons offences and fail to comply with sentence. The 17-year-old was processed and released with a future court date. ST24009265 and ST24009279.
Further, during the same investigation, an 18-year-old St. Thomas resident was arrested. The individual was found to be breaching the conditions of a previous undertaking. The 18-year-old was processed and released with a future court date. ST24012983.
