Mischief

Damage to a residential sign has been reported to police. On Monday June 24th 2024, police were contacted by a homeowner on Inkerman Street who wished to report a sign on the front of their property had been bent and damaged, early Saturday morning. No other damage to the property was reported. ST24010670

Warrant 

A 22 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Monday June 24th 2024, officers on community patrol located the individual who was known to them to be wanted by our service after being identified as the person responsible for theft of mail, reported to police the day prior. The individual was transported to police headquarters, processed and released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST24010676

Fraud 

A St. Thomas resident is out approximately $4,500. On Monday June 24th 2024, the individual attended police headquarters to report several fraudulent transactions and withdrawals from their bank account. This remains under investigation. ST24010678

Break and Enter 

St. Thomas police are currently investigating an industrial break and enter. On Monday June 24th 2024, STPS were contacted in regards to damage caused at a property in the industrial area of the city and the theft of wiring. It was reported that in two separate incidents last week, a fence had been cut allowing access to the business. This remains under investigation. ST24010693
