Warrant Arrest
A 46 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Thursday May 23rd 2024, the individual attended police headquarters to turn themselves in on an outstanding warrant for Trespass by Night, stemming from an incident in September 2023. The 46 year old was processed, attended court and was released by the courts. ST24008414
A 27 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Thursday May 23rd 2024, officers on community patrol located the individual known to them to be wanted on an outstanding warrant with our service for Theft under $5,000 in relation to a shoplifting incident in June of 2023. The 27 year old was processed, attended court and was released by the courts. ST24008435
Indecent Acts
A 28 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Thursday May 23rd 2024, STPS were called to an address in the 300 block of Talbot Street to investigate the report of an unwanted individual. Upon arrival, police located the individual in question and through investigation, charged the 28 year old with one count of Indecent Acts. They were transported to police headquarters to be processed and attended court where they were remanded into custody. ST24008427
Theft
St. Thomas police are currently investigating a theft that occurred for retail store on Talbot Street. On Thursday May 23rd 2024, officers were called to the store by an employee who wished to report an unknown individual attended the store, selected various items of merchandise before entering a change room. Shortly after, the individual had left the store and multiple security tags were found in the change room. This remains under investigation by STPS’ Property Crime Unit. ST24008434
