Warrant Arrest
A 38 year old St. Thomas resident, wanted by police has been arrested. On Tuesday May 21st 2024, the individual attended police headquarters to turn themselves in on outstanding charges of Mischief stemming from two separate incidents over the weekend. Motor Vehicle Collision
No injuries were reported after St. Thomas police were called to motor vehicle collision in the city last night. Just after 6:30 p.m. at the corner of Elm Street and First Avenue, STPS responded to a 911 call reporting a vehicle had driven through the store front of a restaurant. All parties were assessed at the scene with the vehicle and damage removed. ST24008314
Mischief
A 35 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Tuesday May 21st 2024, officers were called to an address on Ross Street to investigate the report of an individual causing damage to the windows of a building. Upon arrival, police located the person responsible who was subsequently charged with one count Mischief. The 35 year old was processed and released on an appearance notice. ST24008322
Intimate Partner Violence
A 41 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Tuesday May 21st 2024, officers were called to a southside address for the report of an argument between spouses. Upon arrival, police learned a verbal argument between the couple had escalated and a physical assault had occurred. As a result, the 41 year old St. Thomas resident was charged with one count of Assault. The individual was transported to police headquarters where they were processed and released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST24008327
