Mischiefs
On May 18th 2024, Police were called to a local shelter where a resident alleged that another resident had damaged some of their property. Following an investigation, a 51yr old male was arrested and charged with mischief. The male was transported to the STPS station where he was processed and released with conditions and a court date. Later on May 18th 2024, Police attended a north end residence for reports that a previous tenant had damaged a door to the home. A 46 yr old Chatham resident was arrested and charged with 1 count of mischief and breach probation. The male was later released with conditions and a future court date. ST24008004
Assault
A charge package for has gone in for a 38 yr old Aylmer resident who assaulted Court Officers while in custody on other matters. The male was remanded into custody and will be further charged with 1 count of assault peace officer. ST24008007
