Warrant arrest

A 32 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Wednesday April 17th 2024, the individual attended police headquarters to turn themselves in on an outstanding warrant with our service for Aggravated Assault stemming from an incident in 2022. The 32 year old was processed to attend court and remanded into custody. ST24006078

Threats and failure to comply 

A 33 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Wednesday April 17th 2024, officers were called in regard to an unwanted person attending a residence on the northside of the city. Police attended and spoke with the 33 year old advising them to move along and not attend the area. Shortly after, police reattended the same address as the individual had returned. As a result, the 33 year old was charged with one count Utter Threats and two counts Failure to Comply with Probation Order. The individual was transported to police headquarters where they were processed to attend court and remanded into custody. ST24006081

Theft

St. Thomas police are currently investigating a theft that occurred from a convenience store on Talbot Street. On Wednesday April 17th 2024, officers were called to the store to investigate the report of two unknown individuals entering the store and selecting various items, but only paying for one of the items. Police are reviewing video surveillance of the incident as they continue to investigate. ST24006118

An amazon package has been reported stolen from an address on the southside of the city. On Wednesday April 17th 2024, police were contacted in regards to the theft that occurred just after the package was delivered. It was reported that the original box had been opened and the contents stolen. This remains under investigation. ST24006101

RIDE 

No infractions were found during a RIDE check conducted on the northside of the city, early this morning. ST24006127
