St. Thomas ON – Friday March 1st 2024
In January of 2024, members of the St. Thomas Police Service – Street Crimes Unit entered into a drug trafficking investigation in the city of St. Thomas and at approximately 5 a.m. on Thursday February 29th 2024, two search warrants were executed at separate addresses in the west end of the city.
As result, seven individual were arrested and the following items were seized:
- 80 tablets of 5mg oxycocet ($800)
- 22.7 grams of crystal methamphetamine ($5,400)
- 7 grams of fentanyl ($1,675)
- $1,365 Canadian currency
- 50 gram gold bar valued at over $5000.00
- Functioning digital weight scales
- 3 flick knives (prohibited weapon)
- Identification and bank cards
- Drug packaging materials
- Debt lists
- Functioning digital weight scales
The total value of the drugs seized was $6,200
Total currency seized is $1,365
The following individuals have been charged:
48 year old, Beverly Kimber has been charged with:
- One count of possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking- methamphetamine
- One count of possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – fentanyl
- One count of possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – oxycocet
- Four counts of failure to comply with release order – Do not possess any identification, card with a data strip or security chip, credit or debit card, credit or debit card data, a blank card with a magnetic strip, cheque, negotiable instrument or banking document unless you can prove that it has been lawfully issued in your name
- Four counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5000
- Three counts of unauthorized possession of a weapon
- One count of possession of property obtained by crime over $5000
- One count of possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5000
- One count of fail to comply with probation order

42 year old, Michael Edmonds has been charged with:
- One count of possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking- methamphetamine
- One count of possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – fentanyl
- One count of possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – oxycocet
- Four counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5000
- Three counts of unauthorized possession of a weapon
- One count of possession of property obtained by crime over $5000
- One count of possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5000
- One count of fail to comply with Probation Order
Edmonds was processed on the charges and released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST24003193
48 year old, Sara Pepper has been charged with:
- One count of possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking- methamphetamine
- One count of possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000

51 year old, Jenna Burton has been charged with:
- One count of possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking- cocaine
- One count of possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking- opioid

33 year old, AJ Mizon is charged with:
- Six counts of possession of property obtained by crime over $5000
- One count of possession of a Schedule I substance – cocaine
- Six counts failure to comply with probation order
- One count theft over $5,000
- Two counts use, deals acts of forged documents
- One count obtain credit card by false pretense or fraud
- One count identity theft

30 year old, Leslie Bell was arrested on the strength of an outstanding warrant with our service for Theft under $5,000 stemming from an incident in October of 2023. Bell was processed and released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST24003197
54 year old, Jackie Myke was arrested on the strength on an outstanding bench warrant with Nipigon OPP for sexual interference and invitation to sexual touching. Myke was processed and remanded into custody pending a transfer to Nipigon OPP. ST24003201
