Warrant Arrest

A 49 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Wednesday January 10th 2024, the individual attended police headquarters to turn themselves in on an outstanding warrant with our service for Theft over $5,000 in relation to an incident in July of 2023. The 49 year old was processed and released on an appearance notice with a future court date. ST24000448

A 27 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Wednesday January 10th 2024, officers on community patrol located the individual known to them to be wanted on an outstanding warrant with our service for Theft under $5,000 after they were identified as the person responsible for shoplifting from a retail store on Talbot Street on January 8th. The 27 year old was transported to police headquarters where they were processed and released on an appearance notice with a future court date. ST24000469

Theft

St. Thomas police are currently investigating a theft that occurred from a retail store on Edward Street. On Wednesday January 10th 2024, officers were called by staff in regards to an unknown person who had been concealing tools in their jacket before leaving the store making no attempt pay. Police have reviewed video surveillance of the incident and identified the individual responsible. The individual will be served a trespass notice once located. ST24000471

A orange GT Aggressor, valued at $800 has been reported stolen from an address on Meehan Street. On Wednesday January 10th 2024, police were called by the owner of the bike who reported that the bike had been stolen at approximately 7:30 p.m. The bike can be seen in the photo below.
