Since September of 2022, the St. Thomas Police Service has been using the efficient technology of the Matrice 30 Series Drone.
The Matrice 30 Series Drove has unique aerial intelligence, environmental adaptability with dual-vision and sensors on all six sides with enhanced transmission capabilities.
With two pilots licensed and certified by Transport Canada to operate the Drone, it uses are:
- In the search of missing persons
- Accident reconstruction
- Evidence gathering
- Security and scene surveying
- Building and open area searches for suspects of crime.
- Community Engagement
