Warrant Arrests
A 46 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Monday December 18th 2023, Waterloo Regional Police Service arrested the individual on the strength of a warrant held by our service for breach of probation. WRPS executed the warrant on our behalf and the St. Thomas resident was released with a future court date. ST23022168
A 39 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Monday December 18th 2023, while on an unrelated call for service, officers encounter the individual known to them to be wanted on an outstanding probation warrant. A query of the individual showed them to also be wanted by London Police Service for the same offence. The 39 year old was arrested and transported to police headquarters where they were processed on both warrants and released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST23022193
Sexual Assault/Forcible Confinement
A 40 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Monday December 18th 2023, officers were called by staff of a downtown residence who wished to report an incident of concern. Upon arrival and through investigation, it was learned an assault had occurred as the result of an interaction between parties known to each other. A 40 year old St. Thomas resident has been charged with one count Sexual Assault and one count Forcible Confinement. The individual was arrested and transported to police headquarters where they were processed and have been held for a court appearance. ST23022198
