Vehicle entry 

St. Thomas police are seeking assistance in identifying the suspects seen in the video below in relation to a vehicle entry that occurred on November 9th. The vehicle, parked on Hincks Street was entered twice in the overnight hours. Bike recovered

A bicycle that was reported stolen from a bike rack at a local school has been recovered. On Thursday November 9th 2023, the bike was located at a downtown address and returned to the owner. ST23019776

Theft

Several amazon packages have been reported stolen from an apartment building on the north side of the city. On Friday November 10th 2023, STPS received the report of the theft through our online reporting portal. It was reported that several neighbours on different floors of the apartment building had packages taken from their front doors. This remains under investigation. ST23019823

A 21 speed, white Schwin bicycle with red decals and disc brakes has been reported stolen. On Sunday November 12th 2023, STPS were called to investigate the theft that occurred from an address on South Edgeware Road between 6 pm and 7:30 pm the day before. The bike can be  seen in the photo below. ST23019977

A heat gun valued at $700 and various safety rope has been reported stolen from a job site on First Ave. On Monday November 13th 2023, STPS we called to investigate the theft that occurred sometime between November 11th and 13th. Through investigation, it was learned that an unknown suspect gained access to a roof under construction and stole the items. This remains under investigation. ST23020038

Found bicycle

A black Trek Hardtail mountain bike has been turned over to police. On Monday November 13th 2023, STPS were called by construction workers on Hincks Street who located what appeared to be an abandon bike. The bike has been heavily repainted. Arrested

A 26 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Monday November 13th 2023, the 26 year old attended police headquarters to turn themselves in on an outstanding warrant with our service for Breach of Probation. The St. Thomas resident was processed and released on an appearance notice. ST23020037

A 48 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Tuesday November 14th 2023, officers on community patrol located the individual known to them to be wanted on an outstanding warrant for Assault and Assault with a Weapon stemming from an incident last week. The St. Thomas resident was taken into custody and transported to police headquarters where they were processed and held for court. ST23020052

Break and enter 

St. Thomas police are currently investigating a break and enter that occurred at a business of First Avenue sometime between Wednesday November 8th and Monday November 13th 2023. Staff at the business report that an unknown person had gained access to the business through a hole in a fence. The phone lines and internet cables were cut and disable. This remains under investigation. ST23020034

St. Thomas police are investigating a break and enter that occurred in the early morning hours of November 14th at business on Edward Street. Through investigation it was learned that an unknown person gained entry to the building and stole two laptops. STPS are looking to identifying this individual seen in this photo:
