Warrant Arrest
A 31 year old London resident has been arrested. On Wednesday November 8th 2023, STPS were contacted by London Police Service who had the 31 year old in custody on the strength of our warrant for an assault charge dating back to 2021. Officers attended London and transported the individual to St. Thomas police headquarters where they were processed on the charge and attended court. The individual was released by the courts. Mischief
A electrical box at the Elevated Park has been damaged. On Wednesday November 8th 2023, police were contacted to investigate the incident. It was reported that at approximately 6:30 a.m. on November 7th an electrical box at the West end of the park had been damaged and was in need of repair. CCTV of the Elevated Park is available and being reviewed by police. This remains under investigation. ST23019719
Fail to comply, warrants.
A 29 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Wednesday November 8th 2023, while on a related call for service, officers located the individual known to them to be wanted on several outstanding warrants. The 29 year old was arrested and transported to police headquarters where they were processed and held for morning court. ST23019749/ST23019751
Assault
A 33 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Wednesday November 8th 2023, police were called to a disturbance at an address in a northside neighbourhood. Upon arrival, police were met by the victim who reported being assaulted by a party known to them. Through investigation it was learned an argument between the two had turned physical. As as result, the 33 year old accused was charged with two counts of Assault and one count of Assault causing bodily harm. The individual was transported to police headquarters where they were processed on the charges and held for a morning court appearance. ST23019752
