Shoplift
On September 29th 2023, STPS were called to investigate a shoplift incident which occurred at a downtown variety store. As a result of the investigation, a 22 yr old St. Thomas resident was identified and arrested. The accused was charged with theft and possession of controlled substances as he was found with drugs on his person. He was later released with a future court date. ST23017318
STPS Officers were called to a downtown grocery store for reports of a theft which had occurred. Police continue to review video in an attempt to identify the suspect involved. ST23017353
Warrant arrests
On September 29th 2023, STPS Officers located and arrested a 30 yr female on an outstanding warrant. She was later released with a future court date. ST23017327

On September 29th 2023, a 56 yr old male turned himself in on an outstanding warrant. He was released with a future court date. ST23017351
On September 29th 2023, STPS Officers located and arrested a 44 yr female on an outstanding bench warrant. Upon arrest, she was found to be in possession of cheques that had been reported stolen therefore she was further charged with possession of stolen property. She was held for morning court and released. ST23017366
On September 29th 2023, STPS Officers located and arrested a 41 yr male on an outstanding warrant. He was later released with a future court date. ST23017382
Porch pirate
On September 29th 2023, an alert citizen observed a male take a package from the porch on a residence at the center of the city. Police located the male suspect a short distance away where he was taken into custody and charged with theft. The property was returned to the owner and the male was released with a future court date. ST23017358
Mischief
On September 29th 2023, STPS Officers were contacted by a restaurant owner who reported getting into a verbal altercation with a couple of youths before one of the parties smashed the front window with a scooter. Police continue to investigate and review video in the area in an attempt to identify the parties involved.
