Porch Pirate

A package valued at approximately $40 has been reported stolen from a porch on Wellington Street. On Wednesday July 19th, 2023 St. Thomas police were called to investigate the theft. A photo of the suspect can be seen here:

Break and enter

A red bicycle valued at approximately $250 has been reported stolen after a break and enter on Churchill Crescent. On Wednesday July 19th 2023, St. Thomas police were called to investigate the incident that occurred sometime between July 17th and July 19th. Upon arrival, police learned that an unknown person(s) entered a garage on the property and stole the bike. Police continue to investigate. ST23012812

Failure to comply 

A 31 year old St. Thomas resident is wanted by police. On Wednesday July 19th 2023, St. Thomas police were called to investigate the report of an individual breaching their bail conditions. Through investigation it was learned that the 31 year old attended an address and made contact with a person they were under conditions to not contact or communicate with. As a result, the resident has been charged with one count Failure to Comply with Release Order. ST23012815

Mischief

A 34 year old St. Thomas resident is wanted by police. On Wednesday July 19th 2023, St. Thomas police were called to investigate the report of mischief. Through investigation it was learned that while the accused attended their former residence, they interfered with the municipal services of the home. As a result, a warrant has been issued for one count Mischief. ST23012832

Theft

Thanks to the quick action of a delivery truck driver, a stolen Ebike has been returned to its owner. Early this morning (July 20th, 2023) an employee of a local grocery store arrived at work and parked their Ebike in a designated area and proceeded into the building. While finishing a delivery at the grocery store. a delivery driver witnessed an unknown person steal the Ebike and drive away. Police were contacted immediately and responded to the area of Princess Avenue where the Ebike and the person who stole it were located. As a result, a 35 year old resident was arrested and charged with one count Theft under $5,000. The 35 year old was transported to police headquarters where they were processed and released on an appearance notice. ST23012856
