Vehicle Entry 

A fish fillet knife and a pair of safety glasses have been reported stolen from a vehicle on Gladstone Avenue. On Tuesday July 18th 2023, St. Thomas police were called to investigate the vehicle entry that occurred sometime in the overnight hours of July 17th, 2023. No damage to the vehicle was reported. This remains under investigation. ST23012730

A laptop valued at $500 has been reported stolen from a vehicle on Forest Ave. On Tuesday July 18th, 2023 the vehicle owner attended police headquarters to report the theft that occurred earlier in the day. The suspect was caught on video and is described as wearing grey hoodie, a black hat and a backpack. STPS are continuing to investigate. ST23012779

Stolen motorcycle

A 2002 Honda CBR 600F motorcycle has been reported stolen from a parking garage on Talbot Street. On Tuesday July 18th, 2023 St. Thomas police were called by the vehicle owner who reports that sometime between July 14th and July 18th, 2023 the motorcycle was stolen. The motorcycle is described as gunmetal grey with a light green lightning design and green under glow. STPS are reviewing available CCTV video. This remains under investigation. Theft

A $30 bottle of whiskey has been reported stolen from a retail  store on Talbot Street. On Tuesday July 18th, 2023 St. Thomas police were called by staff of the store to investigate the theft. The suspect is described as approximately 50 years old with a goatee, wearing a high visibility shirt and a hat. Police are reviewing video surveillance to identify the individual. ST23012755

A BBQ smoker valued at $850 has been reported stolen from a restaurant on Talbot Street. On Tuesday July 18th, 2023 St. Thomas police were called to investigate the theft that occurred from the patio of the restaurant sometime in the overnight hours of Sunday July 16th, 2023. Impaired Operation

An 18 year old St. Thomas resident has been charge with impaired driving after police were called to investigate a vehicle in the ditch on Sinclair Avenue. At approximately 5:00 a.m. this morning police responded to the area and located the lone occupant of the vehicle in the drivers seat, asleep.

Police were able to wake the driver and through investigation formed grounds to charge the driver with Impaired Operation. The driver was arrested and transported to police headquarters where breathe samples were taken, resulting in the charge of
