Arrested

A 36 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Wednesday July 12th, 2023 officers on community patrol located the individual who was known to have an outstanding warrant with our service for two counts of Theft under $5,000 and two counts of Assault from incidents dating back to 2022. The 36 year was processed and released on an undertaking with a feature court date. ST23012383

A 28 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Wednesday July 12th, 2023 officers on community patrol located the individual who was known to have several outstanding warrants with our service for Failure to Comply with Release Order, Failure to Comply with Probation Order, Robbery, Theft under $5,000, Possession of Stolen Property, Possession of Property under $5,000, Use of Credit Card and Trespass at Night. The 28 year old was transported to police headquarters, processed and remanded into custody. ST23012386

A 35 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Wednesday July 12th, 2023 the resident attended police headquarters to turn themselves in on an outstanding warrant for 2 counts of Sexual Assault. The 35 year old was processed and released on an undertaking. ST23012400

A 47 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Wednesday July 12th, 2023 while at EMDC on an unrelated matter, St. Thomas police arrested the individual on an outstanding warrant for Impaired Operation, Operation while Prohibited, two counts Failure to Comply with Undertaking and Drive while Under Suspension. The 47 year old was processed and released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST23012410

Theft 

A 31 year old St. Thomas resident is wanted by police. On Wednesday July 12th, 2023 STPS were called to an address on Metcalfe Street to investigate a stolen bike. Through investigation it was learned that at approximately 7:40 a.m. on July 11th, 2023 an unknown person was captured on camera cutting the lock off the bike and then leaving the area on the bike. STPS were able to identify the individual and as a result the 31 year old has been charged with one count of Theft under $5,000 and one count Failure to Comply with Probation. ST23012351

A black ‘crazy horse’ youth bicycle, valued at $100 has been reported stolen from an address on Elm Street. On Wednesday July 12th, 2023 St. Thomas Police were contacted by the victim who reports that during the overnight hours the bicycle was stolen from the backyard of the residence.
