On the 19th of May 2023, Police attended a north end business regarding a truck and equipment theft. Shortly after midnight on the 19th of May 2023, a 2008 International flat deck work truck bearing Ontario licence plate BE76228 was stolen from the business. In the bed of the truck was a Vermeer MX240 mud mixer and a 25 gallon diesel tank. Attached to the truck was a 2008 JDJ flat deck dual axle trailer bearing Ontario licence plate X7261H. The trailer was carrying a Vermeer directional drill. The total value of stolen property exceeds $65,000. Police are reviewing surveillance video in the area and are seeking the public’s assistance with any information pertaining to this occurrence. Please contact police if you have any information.
