Failure to Comply 

A 48 year old St. Thomas resident attended police headquarters on Tuesday May 9th 2023, to turn themselves in on an outstanding warrant held by our service for Failure to Comply with Release Order. The individual was processed and released on an undertaking. ST23007749

A 29 year old St. Thomas resident wanted by our service for 2 counts Failure to Comply with Probation Order was located and arrested on Tuesday May 9th 2023. The individual was transported to police headquarters, processed and subsequently released on an undertaking. ST23007750

A 43 year old St. Thomas resident recently released by the courts is wanted by St. Thomas Police. On Tuesday May 9th 2023, St. Thomas Police were called to a residence in the city to investigate the report of an unwanted party who’s recent release conditions included to not attend the address of the complaint. The 43 year old had left area prior to police arrival. A warrant for arrest has been requested. ST23007754

A 39 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested for Failure to Comply with Release Order. While attending the Elgin County Court House on an unrelated matter, the individual was found to be in possession of prohibited items as per their release order. The 39 year old was processed and held for court where they were remanded into custody. ST23007761

A 44 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested after officers on community patrol were called to a downtown retail location to assist in removing an unwanted party and issuing a trespass notice. Upon arrival, police recognized the person staff wished to have removed and issued the notice. While processing the individual, officers were notified of an outstanding warrant with our service for one count Theft under $5,000. As such, the 44 year old was arrested and transported to police headquarters and held for court. ST23007771

A 42 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested after St. Thomas Police were called to a downtown retail location to investigate the report of a theft. Upon arrival, police were informed that the suspect entered the store, selected two bottles of alcohol and then left, making no attempt to pay. STPS located  and arrested the suspect in the parking lot and transferred them to police headquarters where they were charged with one count Theft under $5,000. The 42 year old was processed and released on an appearance notice. ST23007791

A 28 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested for two counts Failure to Comply with Probation Order. Officers on community patrol were dealing with the individual on an unrelated matter when they were made aware of the outstanding warrant. The 28 year old was transported to police headquarters where they were processed and released on an undertaking. ST23007811
