Break and Enter
On Wednesday March 29th 2023, St. Thomas Police were called to a Talbot Street address to investigate a break and enter that had occurred in the mail room. Police reviewed surveillance video of the incident and as a result, a warrant has been requested for a 37 year old St. Thomas male. ST23004932

On Wednesday March 29th 2023, a 49 year old St. Thomas male attended Police Headquarters to turn himself in on an outstanding warrant held by our service. The male was wanted for 1 count of Assault following an incident earlier this month. The male was held for court and remanded into custody. ST23004934/ST23003868
On Wednesday March 29th 2023, St. Thomas Police at the Elgin County Court House were dealing with a male on an unrelated issue when it became known that he had an outstanding warrant with our service. As such, the 32 year old St. Thomas male was arrested and charged with 1 count of Possession of Stolen Property Obtain by Crime and 2 counts of Failure to Comply with Probation Order. Theft
On Wednesday March 29th 2023, St. Thomas Police were called to investigate a gas drive off from a gas station on the south side of the City. It was learned that at approximately 2:30 PM, a suspect driving a red/orange pickup truck attended the gas station, filled the truck with $110 worth of fuel and then left, making no attempt to pay. St. Thomas Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the male and truck seen in these photos. On Wednesday March 29th 2023, St. Thomas Police were called to investigate the theft of 2 bottles of liquor from a downtown retail store. Through investigation it was learned that at approximately 5:30 PM a male entered the store, selected two bottles of liquor and then left the store making no attempt to pay. The suspect is seen in this photo wearing a bright orange hat and brown work boots while walking away from the retail store location. Fail to Comply
On Thursday March 30th, 2023 St. Thomas Police were called to a disturbance at a residence on the north side of city. Upon arrival, Officers learned that a 16 year old youth was failing to comply with his release order. As such, he was placed under arrest and transported to Police Headquarters where he was held for court. ST23004975
