On 07Jan/23 at approximately 11:30am St. Thomas Police officers responded to a complaint from a citizen regarding a possible impaired driver. Police located the vehicle involved on Edward Street and arrested and charged a 24-year-old male with impaired driving by drugs. This male was held in custody until sober and released with a future court date. Ref# ST23000341
On 07Jan/23 at approximately 11:45am St. Thomas Police officers attended an address on Chestnut Street regarding the theft of a light fixture. Unknown persons stole a light fixture and bulb valued at $75.00 from the front of a residence. This is currently under investigation. Ref# ST23000342
On 07Jan/23 at approximately 5pm St. Thomas Police officers attended the Real Canadian Superstore located at 1063 Talbot Street regarding an alleged theft. As a result of the investigation, 29-year-old Justin Dobson is currently wanted for one count of theft not exceeding $5000. Ref# ST23000362
On 07Jan/23 at approximately 9pm St. Thomas Police officers attended Walmart located at 1063 Talbot Street regarding an alleged theft. Through further investigation 20-year-old Nicolas Derbowka was arrested and charged with two counts of breach of probation, one count of breaching a court release order and one count of breaching an undertaking. This male was held in custody for a morning court appearance and later released by the courts. Ref# ST23000380
