On the 26th day of December 2022 we reported the recovery of a City of St. Thomas arena truck where a 37 year old St. Thomas man was charged. It was later discovered that a break and enter had taken place and the Joe Thornton Arena. As a result the same male is also charged with break and enter. The male was released on a future court date with conditions. ST22020688.
St. Thomas Police Service is currently investigating a break and enter to a commercial property on Talbot Street. The property manager had discovered a water pipe that had burst on the 24th day of December 2022. At some point after that, someone broke into the utility room of the business and turned the water back on causing significant damage to the property. Anyone with information is asked to contact STPS and reference incident # ST22020691.
On the 27th day of December 2022 police attended a south end residence for a family dispute. As a result of a police investigation it was determined the male in the residence had assaulted the female. The male was taken into custody and held for morning court. ST22020730
