St. Thomas Police Service Media Release for Sunday October 20th, 2024

On the 19th day of October 2024 police attended a northside address for a theft of a blue and white tin man statue.  The statue was taken off the front lawn of the residence.  Anyone with information is asked to contact STPS.  ST24018935.

After an investigation relating to the use of counterfeit money, St. Thomas Police Service has arrested a 31-year-old St. Thomas woman for tendering a counterfeit $100.  The female was arrested and released on a future court date.  ST24016658/18938.

St. Thomas Police Service is currently investigating a vehicle entry in the area of Fairview Avenue and Chestnut Street.  An unknown person entered the unlocked vehicle and stole a blanket and garage door opener.  This matter is still under investigation.  ST24018941.

On the 19th day of October 2024 St. Thomas Police were contacted by the Toronto Police Service as they had a male in custody on the strength of a St. Thomas warrant.  The male was processed and released on a future court date.  ST24018942.

St. Thomas Police Service is currently investigating a theft from a 1010 Talbot Street store.  A male entered the store and took an item without paying.  The male is unknown at this time and the investigation is ongoing.  ST24018952.

St. Thomas Police Service arrested a 30-year-old St. Thomas woman on several outstanding warrants.  The female was held for a court appearance and remanded into custody.  ST24018949.
