St. Thomas Police Service media release for Sunday June 23rd, 2024

On the 22nd day of June 2024 St. Thomas Police Service received a complaint regarding a theft of mail from a residence.  Investigation revealed that a 22-year-old St. Thomas man had stolen the mail which contained the victim’s personal documents.  As a result, an arrest warrant is being sought for the male.  This male is also a suspect in other related offences that are under investigation.  ST24010540/ST24010550.

On the 22nd day of June 2024 a 27-year-old Gravenhurst male turned himself into police on an outstanding warrant.  The male was wanted in relation to a breach of release conditions in 2023.  The male was processed and released on a future court date.  ST24010560.

St. Thomas Police Service is currently looking for a 50-year-old St. Thomas man for breaching his release conditions.  The male is on conditions not to associate with a person known to him.  As a result, a warrant is being sought for the male’s arrest.  ST24010581.

On the 23rd day of June 2024 St. Thomas Police Service received a complaint from an alert citizen regarding a vehicle stopped at the intersection of Elm Street and Fairview Avenue.  The driver, a 41-year-old London man was asleep in the driver’s seat.  Police attended the scene and determined the male was impaired by alcohol.  The male provided samples of his breath that resulted in readings almost double the legal limit.  The male was charged with operating a vehicle while impaired and released on a future court date.  ST24010597.
