A replica paper gun has been turned in to police at a local secondary school.
An STPS officer received what appears to be a realistic looking paper gun from a student at a high school on the southside of the city.
The St. Thomas Police Service is sharing concerns that this type of object could easily be mistaken for a firearm by the police or the public.
Any individual with information on the origins of this object are asked to contact the St. Thomas Police Service.
This replica gun was seized for destruction.
