New Online Reporting System Launches Monday
The St. Thomas Police Service is launching a new and improved online reporting system starting Monday July 28th, 2025.
Powered by Triton, the updated platform offers a more streamlined process and enhanced connection between the public and police—making it easier than ever to report non-emergency incidents.
While STPS has had an online reporting tool for years, the new Triton platform significantly improves user experience and functionality.
Community members will be able to access the updated portal directly from our website starting Monday.
The new system is designed for greater efficiency and clarity, guiding users through each step of the reporting process. It allows residents to conveniently report select incidents online—without needing to visit the police station or call non-emergency lines.
“We remain committed to making it easier for the public to connect with us,” said Deputy Chief Steve Bogart. “This new platform ensures that residents can quickly and securely submit reports while allowing officers to prioritize frontline response to calls for service.”
The online reporting tool can be used for a variety of non-urgent matters, including:
- Theft under $5,000
- Lost property
- Mischief or damage to property
- Fraud and scams
- Traffic complaints
- Neighbourhood concerns
As always, in the event of an emergency, residents are reminded to call 911 immediately. For non-emergencies requiring police assistance, please call 519-631-1224.
We look forward to continuing to serve our community through innovation and accessibility.
