Theft
St. Thomas police are currently investigating a theft that occurred from a retail store on Talbot Street. On Tuesday September 10th 2024, officers were called to the store to investigate the report of an unknown person attending the store and failing to pay for various items of merchandise. The individual is described as wearing a black hoodie with white writing, red tights and to have had blonde hair. STPS are reviewing available video of the incident as they continue to investigate. Failure to Comply
A 30 year old London resident has been charged after an incident in the city, last night. On Tuesday September 10th 2024, officers were called to an address on the north side of the city to investigate the report of an altercation between two individuals known to each other. Through investigation, police learned the 30 year old is currently on release conditions to not communicate with the involved party. As a result, the individual has been charged with Failure to Comply with Probation and two counts of Failure to Comply with Undertaking. A warrant for arrest has been requested. ST24016250
Warrant Arrests and Additional Charges
Two St. Thomas residents have been arrested. On Tuesday September 10th 2024, officers on community patrol observed the pair who were known to be wanted by our service on several outstanding warrants. A 37 year old St. Thomas resident wanted for one count Breach of Probation stemming from an incident in June, was arrested and transported to police headquarters where they were processed and released on an appearance notice. A 32 year old St. Thomas resident wanted for one count of Mischief, Destroy Property and Enter Premises where Prohibited was arrested and transported to police headquarters where a search incident to arrest found them to be in possession of a controlled substance. The individual was additionally charged with Possession of Scheduled I Substance and held for a morning court appearance. ST24016255/6257
