Arrested
A 29 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Tuesday June 27th, 2023 STPS were contacted by OPP who had the 29 year old in their custody on the strength of our warrant for Possession of Property Obtained by Crime under $5,000, Use Forged Documents and Fraud under $5,000. St. Thomas police attended to arrest and transport the individual to STPS headquarters where they were processed, held for court and released by the courts. ST23011316
A 32 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Tuesday June 27th, 2023 STPS were contacted by OPP who had the 32 year old in their custody on the the strength of our warrant Failure to Comply with Probation. OPP transported the individual to STPS headquarters to be processed, held for court and was later released by the courts. ST23011328
A 32 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Tuesday June 27th, 2023 the resident attended police headquarters to turn themselves in on an outstanding warrant for Assault. The 32 year old was arrested, processed and held for court and was later released by the courts. ST23011335
34 year old Brooks Ferris has been arrested. On Tuesday June 27th, 2023 St. Thomas police were dealing with Ferris on an unrelated matter, with knowledge of an outstanding warrant with our service for Failure to Comply with an Undertaking. As a result, he was arrested and transported to police headquarters where he was processed and held for court. ST23011373
Vehicle Entry
A wallet has been reported stolen from a vehicle on Dyer Street. On Tuesday June 27th, 2023 St. Thomas police were contacted by the vehicle owner who reported that sometime overnight the vehicle was entered and the wallet containing personal identification, bank cards and credit cards had been stolen. The victim was notified of attempt to use the cards but reports the use was declined. This remains under investigation. ST23011324
Assault
A 25 year old Ridgetown resident has been arrested. On Tuesday June 27th, 2023 St. Thomas police were called to a disturbance in the city’s north end. Upon arrival and through investigation, police determined an assault had occurred during an altercation between two parties known to each other. As a result, the 25 year old was arrested and charged with one Assault Causing Bodily Harm. The individual was transported to police headquarters, processed and released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST23011332
Assault
A 33 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Tuesday June 27th, 2023 St. Thomas police were called to investigate an altercation that had occurred in the city’s south end. Through investigation, police determined an assault had occurred between two parties known to each other. A warrant for arrest was requested and the 33 year old attended police headquarters to turn themselves in. The individual was processed and released on an undertaking with a future court date. Theft, Assault with a Weapon
A 29 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On the Tuesday June 27th, 2023 St. Thomas police were called to a theft in progress with the suspect being in possession of a knife. Upon arrival, police located and identified the individual who was place under arrest. The 29 year old was transported to police headquarters and charged with one count Theft under $5,000 and and one count Assault with a Weapon, processed and released on an undertaking. ST23011358
