Warrant Arrests
A 34 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Monday September 16th 2024, police were called in regards to an unwanted person on St. Catherine Street. STPS attend the area and located an individual known to them to be wanted on an outstanding warrant with our service in relation to a shoplifting incident in July, where they had been charged with Theft under $5,000. The 34 year old was transported to police headquarters where they were processed and released on an appearance notice. ST24016644
A 38 year old Scarborough resident has been arrested. On Monday September 16th 2024, police were called in regards to an unwanted person on Burwell Road. STPS attended the address and located the 38 year old who, through investigation was found to have several outstanding warrants with neighbouring police services. The individual was arrested and transported to police headquarters where they were held for Durham Regional Police. ST24016647
A 33 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Monday September 16th 2024, officers on community patrol were dealing with the individual on an unrelated matter when they became aware of an outstanding warrant with our service stemming from an impaired operation investigation dating back to 2022. The 33 year old was transported to police headquarters where they were processed to attend court and were released by the courts. ST24016653
A 45 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested after a fraud investigation that began in April. The individual, in custody at the Elgin Middlesex Detention Centre on unrelated matters has been charged with Theft under $5,000 in relation to the investigation. Officers processed the outstanding warrant at EMDC, where the 45 year old remains in custody. ST24016663
A 38 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Monday September 16th 2024, St. Thomas Police were contacted by London Police who had the individual in their custody on the strength of our warrant stemming from an incident in May of this year, where the 38 year old had been charged with Mischief, Theft under $5,000 and Failure to Comply with Probation. The individual was transported to St. Thomas police headquarters where they were held for a morning court appearance. ST24016698
A 30 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. In the early morning hours of September 17th 2024, officers located the individual known to them to be wanted on an outstanding warrant with our service in relation to a disturbance in July, where they had been charged with Assault. The 30 year old was transported to police headquarters where they were processed and held for a morning court appearance. ST24016714
