A 31 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Monday October 30th 2023, the individual attended police headquarters to turn themselves in on an outstanding warrant held by Lambton OPP. Processing paperwork was provided by Lambton and the St. Thomas resident was released with a future court date. ST23019141
A 32 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Monday October 30th 2023, the individual attended police headquarters to turn themselves in on an outstanding warrant with our service for assault with a weapon and entering a premises when prohibited, stemming from an incident earlier this month. The St. Thomas resident was processed on the charges and released on an undertaking with a future court date. ST23019154
A 71 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Monday October 30th 2023, the individual attended police headquarters to turn themselves in on an outstanding warrant with our service for two counts of assault with a weapon, stemming from an incident last week. Vehicle Entries
A purse with debit and credit cards has been reported stolen. On Monday October 30th 2023, St. Thomas police were called to investigate the theft which occurred from a vehicle on Mitchell Street. The stolen cards had been used at several locations throughout the city. This remains under investigation. ST23019155
An attempted vehicle entry and theft has been reported to police. On Tuesday October 31st 2023, St. Thomas police were called to an address on Eagle Street to investigate the report of tools being scattered on the road and damage to a pick up truck. Upon arrival, police observed the reported tools on the road and two flat tires on the truck in question. STPS are gathering and reviewing video surveillance of the area and continue to investigate. Wanted
A 44 year old St. Thomas resident is wanted by STPS. On Monday October 30th 2023, St. Thomas police were called to a retail store on Talbot Street to investigate the report of a theft. Upon arrival, officers were able to review store surveillance of the incident and positively identify the suspect. As a result, the 44 year old has been charged by way warrant with Theft under $5,000. ST23019176
Mischief
St. Thomas police are currently investigating an incident of mischief. On Monday October 30th 2023, St. Thomas police attending an address on Elysian Street to investigate damaged done to the front step and railing of a home, sometime after October 27th at 7 p.m. While there, police observed what appeared to be tire tracks in the grass and broken glass indicating the damage may have been caused by a motor vehicle.
