Arrested

A 28 year old St. Thomas resident has been arrested. On Monday June 19th, 2023 St. Thomas police were dealing with the individual on an unrelated matter when they became aware of an outstanding warrant with our service for Assault and Failure to Comply with Undertaking. The 28 year old was arrested and transported to police headquarters where they were processed, held for court and released on an undertaking. ST23010718

34 year old, Brooks Ferris has been arrested. On Monday June 19th, 2023 St. Thomas police were called to an address on Elysian Street to investigate a stolen bicycle. Through investigation, Ferris was identified, arrested and released on an undertaking. ST23010733/ST23010750

Theft

A Diesel Stamper valued at over $12,000 has been reported stolen. On Monday June 19th, 2023 St. Thomas police were called by a business owner who wished to report that sometime between Friday June 16th and Monday June 19th the machine, left at a construction site downtown was stolen. Through investigation and a review of the CCTV surveillance in the area, three unknown suspects are seen dismantling the machine and removing it. This remains under investigation. ST23010720

Vehicle Entry

A leaf blower valued at $299 has been reported stolen from a vehicle on Margaret Street. On Monday June 19th, 2023 St. Thomas police were called to investigate the theft that occurred sometime in the overnight hours of June 17th, 2023. No damage to the vehicle was reported. ST23010721

A diaper bag and utility knife have been reported stolen from a vehicle on Hincks Street. On Tuesday June 20th, 2023 St. Thomas police were called to investigate the theft that occurred sometime overnight. No damage to the vehicle was reported. Police are reviewing available video and continue to investigate. ST23010799
